For all the photographs minus the last image this is the lighting style that I used. I had the two tungsten lights at the front and a backlight facing the back to separate the subject from the background. On the background I had Simona hold up two of my gels over the backlight to create the blue and purple. During this process we burnt two of my gels. When I got home and looked at these images I was very happy with the outcome. I decided that I would need to reshoot as I got stuck in my normal routine of shooting corporate portraits and completely forgot about shooting a 3/4 shot. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that I will submit my head and shoulder image from this shoot and reshoot in the near future for my 3/4 shot.
